Starter Toolbox – SPECIAL EDUCATION COURSE
Imagine you are creating a starter toolbox kit for a new teacher- what would you include? Examples, advice, descriptions of the classroom set up, sample lesson plan for co-teaching. 8 page minimum and cite all resources
-advice can be on diversity, creating inclusion in the classroom and acceptance of students with disabilities, getting parents involved to help with IEP at home etc
-examples of things to include can be differentiation for students with disabilities: like audiobooks for those that have trouble reading, differentiated prompts, differentiated centers for classroom set up, leveled reading books etc
this is a special education course so please try to gear the essay towards this and ways to help students of varying levels and those with IEPs
