On difficult access patients, does ultrasound guided imaging placement of peripheral intravenous catheters improve the quality of insertions compared to standard methods?
This capstone project is extremely important !!! Please follow the instructions provided! I have included my abstract that contains information I would like to speak about in my entire paper. I want to implement the use of ultrasound guided imaging of peripheral intravenous catheters on medical surgical floors due to the fact that nurses are not able to access and/or trying multiple attempts on patient who have difficult access such as “no veins” or difficult veins to work with. In addition, I also want to include any training that involves how to use an ultrasound guided imaging.The nurses on the floor are ALL new!!! Which can also be a huge factor!! I have also provided a template on the paper must be set up.
