There were many things done wrong in this process and the treatment of this group of people has been discussed at length; however, what would you have done differently knowing that a growing nation was encroaching on the lands? There are no wrong answers as history has taken place and we are here without the ability to change anything but the academic exercise is still valuable as we move forward understanding the difficulty in making decisions that can affect the future of so many.
