1.The EEOC are taking a few different approaches in order to fight discrimination in the workplace. Namely, the main few that we read/heard about were: E-RACE, LEAD, and Youth@Work. The first initiative, E-RACE, was designed to improve the EEOC’s efforts to root out racism in the workplace. They plan to make employees aware of race and color discrimination, as well as identify the issues that contribute to that specific type of discrimination.
2. The EEOC is fighting discrimination in the work place by the policy that they have in place. The E-RACE policy is in place to eradicate racism and colorism for employment. This type of policy is in place in order to educate employees in the work place SO they can file a report and speak up when they see any and all discrimination in the workplace.
