David and Goliath: Malcolm Gladwell

In an article by Adam Grant he states several claims about Malcolm Gladwell. In one full page with text evidence defend the claim that “This rhetorical strategy is visible in each Gladwell book: articulate what we currently think, and then present examples and evidence to show how our beliefs are incomplete, inadequate, inconsistent, or just plain wrong.” Claim must be thoughtful and appropriate: evidence supports the claim clearly and thoroughly. Defend the argument by explaining the merits of the position–what exactly makes it a workable, viable position. Do more than simply echo views you agree with. Even as you’re agreeing, it’s important to bring something new and fresh to the table, adding something that makes you a valuable participant in the conversation.
