Students will write a research paper about the effects of social media on mental health or specific psychological disorder. The paper should be double-spaced and follow APA format. I am not as concerned about length as I am about the thorough development of your reflections and research (approximately 8-10 pages). Please submit as a Word document. Your writing should focus on the following:
Specific Psychological Disorder:
Research a disorder from the DSM-5.
Discuss etiology and any other contributing factors.
Discuss comorbidity with other psychological disorders.
Analyze current treatment practices.
Provide at least 3-5 research articles to support your description and analysis. You may also reference the textbook.
You may tie in the previous topic of social media if it relates to your chosen disorder, but it is not required.
