(a): There have been countless adaptions of the Thousand One Nights. Choose any one adaption, whether film, television, fiction, video game etc. Here are some free sources:

Write a critique of one of these adaptations. How is it successful? How is it unsuccessful? What changes are made and what are the impacts of these changes? Does the work avoid, undermine or perpetuate orientalist stereotyping? You are welcome to insert your own voice as the reviewer, however be sure to explain the reason for your opinions with explicit reference the original text of the Thousand and One Nights.
