The writing will expand on the literature focused on women leaders in the workplace through the exploration of the topic: Women Leaders in Manufacturing and Their Rise to the Top. The goal of this proposed study is to understand the experiences of women leaders in a manufacturing environment during their upward mobility to leadership. The target population for this proposed study is women in manufacturing organizations who hold senior leadership roles of directors, vice presidents or serve on a board of directors. A sample of 10-12 women will be recruited using homogeneous sampling.
