How did they try to achieve their goals? Were they successful? Why or why not? What was the legacy of the 1798 rebellion to the Irish people?

2.Describe the origins of Fenianism in Ireland and the United States in the middle of the 19th century. Discuss the branches of the movement, and its personnel, organization, goals, and activities during the late 1850s and the 1860s. How effective was the Fenian rising of 1867?
